i want to go to the end of it but everyone says that brides never attend. i know i'll end up going but i was wondering what u girls were doing.

We're going to mingle a bit at CH and then spend a few moments alone since we know for the entire night we'll be surrounded by our loving family and friends.

We will be taking pics during cocktail hour, so I doubt we'll be able to attend any of it - besides, all the weddings I've gone to, the B&G were never there.

I'm hoping to spend some time alone with my new hubby, as per the Jewish tradition--and then mingling with the guests, but if we can't get our pictures done with before the ceremony, I'll be doing that!
Ditto!! No way am I going to miss the CH...great way to see everyone and enjoy some of the food!

I am DEF going to mine. We are doing pics before the ceremony so we have time to mingle at the CH cause I wanna be able to dance at the reception.
Same here! FH can't wait for the CH food, there is no way we are missing it!

I am DEF going to the CH it is the best part and I want to be able to dance at the reception rather than spending all of my time going from table to table greeting guests.

Ditto. I am doing Yichud also(for about 5-10 minutes) - eliminates the need for a receiving line which could cut into the cocktail hour for about 20 minutes to a half hour with the amount of guests we expect to have. Since we are paying extra $$$ per person for sushi chefs during the cocktail hour, I sure as hell ain't missing them!
People will get just as excited when we are announced at the reception as they would if they already saw us at the CH. They wouldnt be like 'Oh its just them again!'
Oooh, invite me, invite me!!!!!! Love sushi...

We hope to have most of our pics done by then & then will be arriving via yacht & hope to enjoy most of the CH, although FH would rather be traditional & wait until we're introduced.

I will be at cocktail hour! We added many many delicious items- and spending $$$$$ on it...so I WANT TO EAT IT! I do not want to walk away from my wedding hungry and wishing i tasted the food...ALSO, I want to mingle there so I can enjoy more at the reception!

We want to go to ours, 1 we are taking pics beforee the wedding. 2 who want to be in the suite the whole time? 3 my cocktaail hour is AWESOME I dont want to miss it.

Come HELL or highwater this is what I'm doing:
1. ALL pics before hand
2. right after ceremony go back to bridal suite for 15 minutes alone with hubby. SAvor the moment and EAT!!
3. Mingle the rest of cocktail hour and make the rounds then.
4. EAT at the reception, never leave my hubby's side and DANCE BABY, DANCE!!!
I'm paying so that's how I'm playing

We are defintily going! We want to get some of the hellos out of the way and I want the whole bridal party to experience EVERYTHING.
