Don't know if I should call

I ordered my dress back in Sept 08 and still no dress. My dress is a Maggie I know they take a while but how long??? I have a few mths before the wedding but I just want my dress lol!

Did you call the salon and ask them for an update? I don't know, I feel like that is a long time I'd be upset too!!

I was told when I ordered mine that a Maggie usually takes 9 months to come in. I thought they were just saying that so I'd order right away but maybe not?

I would call too... I ordered my Maggie in March and I was promised it'd be in in August. One of my BMs also had a Maggie and it took about 6 months for hers to come in.

I ordered my dress before yours and I know the place I ordered it from doesn't like them to come in too early so they hold off on the 'offical' order that way it doesn't come in until 2 or 3 months before the wedding.

Maybe your place does the same thing.

I called two days ago to see when my would be in, i ordered it back in dec 08. the woman told me that the dresses come in 6 to 8 weeks before your wedding. they time it that way. they are working on june and july brides. that way it's not a total bombardment of dresses and people. She told me mid to late july i should have my dress. i can't wait!

My advise. Call!! couldn't hurt and at least you'll know!

I dont see any harm in calling

If it makes you feel better I ordered my dress in Aug 08 and I'm getting married in 4months and still no dress. I'm expecting it in at the end of June or early July though

I ordered my Maggie July of 08 and it only just came in last tuesday. So over 10 months. I was starting to get panicky but it did come in with enough time!!

My dress took almost 11 months to come in- I would not worry too much but you could call for an update.

I ordered my Maggie the last weekend of December and I just got the call last week it was in.

I ordered my dress in october...my wedding is 2 1/2 months away! nothing yet! they told me usually comes in 6-8 weeks before the wedding!
They also told me alot of people lie about the date of the wedding to asure the dress coming in time!! i feel like i should have done that!

I would call and just check in. Sometimes they get them in but they will not call you until closer to your wedding to schedule your fittings and such.

most places do not want dresses in the store for months so they order them close to the wedding date , dont fear!

I feel your pain! I was told my dress would be in the end of May...and still no call! I'm trying to hold out, but I think I'll call today or tomorrow if I don't hear from them. I'm getting impatient!

Call.. the worst think is that they can tell you that it is not in yet.. and maybe they can give you insight of when it will be in.

I ordered mine in oct.. and it just came in last week...
