Don't mean to be tacky.. but how much is your bedding?? I never realized how expensive it is$$

Of course, the only ones I like are several hundreds of dollars. Is this normal? I feel so bad to put it on my registry.

that is the best part about a registry... if someone will spend it (you know your guests best) then they will get it for you.. but sometimes people put rediculous things on the registry and people say 'who does she think she is' i have heard it before... but i am talking about everything being so expensive
you should put some expensive things on there
GO FOR IT... rather start off with nice stuff

Mine is about the same. I feel the same way, but mom made me put it on there

I hope no one buys it for me...I do these things for my mom so we don't argue..yes, yes yes..I pick the battles!!

FH and i have lived together for almost 4 years, we won't be buying new furniture for our bedroom until we buy a house, until then..who knows if i will even use it..

Right!! In fact I remember saying that about someone's bridal shower I went to. She registered for an ironing board that was $100. I can't see the justification in that.. JMO

I agree..Im having a hrd time finding something reasonably priced as I do want to actually get it and all the places I registered at are so expensive except Target which has nothing I like...may just leave it off....

OMG that is so funny. I was thinking the same way. FH and I registered at fortunoffs, and we loved this Calvin Klein bedding. Well it was originally $315, but it was on sale for $200, so we bought it, cause I didn't want to put it on my registry, cause I knew it wouldn't stay on sale, and I didn't want people to say 'Who does she think she is?'

I registered for this Calvin Klein set which was about $300. I don't feel bad for registering it coz' I wasn't expecting people to buy it (just wishful thinking). The key is to register stuff of all price ranges so you give your guests choices. Think of it this way... really really good pots & pans for that much even more and you do get it as a gift from someone.
