I have a different problem (though I hate this one too): I keep telling MYSELF I have all this time! People are asking me what I have left to do, and I tell them and they're like, wow, that's a lot, how are you going to get it all done? and I'm like 'oh, I have time....'

ugh.. that always annoys me. i had one person look at me funny like i had two heads and proceed to tell me how she planned hers in less than 3 wks, just got on the phone and made phone calls. Im like, is she seriously suggesting that she thinks I can plan the wedding I want in 3 wks!? That was fine for her Im sure and thats great, but I dont want her wedding! Id like the one Im planning, thanks!

Yes - I hate it especially when it's people from my parents' generation who say that ...weddings were so much more simple and less expensive for them than they are now! My FMIL yesterday was saying 'Oh why do you have to do that now?' when I told her I was reserving the RD restaurant soon...the restaurant even told me to do it within the next few weeks, why wouldn't I listen to them? Does she really have any idea how fast rooms book up? Back in her day they probably did the RD in their backyard.

arrggh I get that ALL the time! My sister said it the other day when I told her I spray painted the dowels for my pennants and the frames for my table numbers. She said 'Oh wow, you're so early!' Um are you KIDDING? Wedding is in 81 days and how many opportunities do I have on a regular basis to get things done? Barely any!!
