Dopey Invite Question Help
If you are having a mass at church and then a reception someplace else, is it necessary to have a reception card? What exactly is a reception card?I know you need a response card.
HELP! Any pics?

Re: Dopey Invite Question Help
Yes, you should have one. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception is all at our hall and we used a reception card. It's just a small card (about the same size as your rsvp card) that usually says, 'reception immediately following at ...' I'm sorry, I don't have a picture of ours but it is great because it gives your guests an idea what's in store for the occasion. Good luck :)

Re: Dopey Invite Question Help
I think you could also just add at the bottom of the invite with the church info something like 'Reception to follow at yada yada hall'

Re: Dopey Invite Question Help
you crack me up with the titles of your invite ?s.
the reception card simply tells your guests where the reception will be. you should have them if ceremony and reception are in 2 diff. places. at the bottom of your invite it should read reception to follow as well.
if they are at 1 place (which yours isn't) you can forego the cards and the mentioning.

Re: Dopey Invite Question Help
Cindy, my ceremony and reception are at two different places. My invite says Darlene & John invite you blah blah, with the address of the ceremony. The reception card says:'The Celebration Continues
