I am from Bellmore, and am getting ready there. My sister actually used to work for Maximas years ago. I was thinking of using them. My wedding is on a Sunday. Do you know if they are open, or if they will travel to you? Also, any idea on the prices. I know they used to be on the expensive side, and I imagine they still are.

Hi Dec Bride! Im also from Bellmore and i go to maximus. The phone number is 623-4180. They are open on sundays,. i dont know if they come to your house. bridal updos are 70.00.. i hope this helps and good luck!!

Suzanne - thanks for the info, that is actually a very good price, and even if they don't travel, it is very close to where I am getting ready. I 'll have to call for a trial.

Hi! I'm from Bellmore also. :) My sisters wedding was last Sunday & we got our hair & makeup done at Maximus! They did an amazing job!!! And they were definitely reasonable! I highly recommend them! And they are open at 10 am on Sundays! Good luck!

oh- I was the maid of honor and it cost me $95 for both hair and makeup. It was a bit more for my sister, but it was reasonable:) Hope that helps

Wow, there are a few of us Bellmore gals. We bought a house in Selden, so I live there now, but 2 of my sisters are still in Bellmore. I will always be a Bellmore girl at heart !! I love the fair, anybody have any idea when in Sept it is? I try never to miss it, you always seem to run into a,lot of old friends

Hey ladies! Figured I'd also mention that I think they do come to your home for an extra fee. Personally I'm going to go to them since I live just down the road in Freeport...
