Double veil?

Double veil?

Does anyone know where I could find a double veil that lays flat on the head? So that when you pull the front over there is no poof? The only example I have is a picture from Sex and the City lol....its the kind of veil Charlotte wore for her second wedding:

TIA!

Do you want a 2-tier veil? Or a 1-tier with a blusher?

A lot of veils aren't 'poofy' anymore...maybe just the ones with really stiff fabric.

I don't really want ANY veil but this is the nicest I've seen...maybe it is the material? I just hate any height on veils...as soon as I put one on at the salon I just wanted to take it off. But my Mom will have a coronary if I don't wear one so I am doing it for her.

ETA: I need the part that goes over the front because of a Jewish tradition. Wanted to clarify.

Re: Double veil?

I have to cover my face with a veil (b/c I'm Jewish, too!) and I ordered a 2-tier veil. It is not poofy at all. Not to sound snotty, but I think only the cheaper, stiffer fabrics are poofy. Most of the ones I've seen are fairly flat. Also, try wearing it further back on your head. The closer to the front, the more your eyes will be drawn to staring at it.

Where have you tried them on?

Re: Double veil?

I tried some terrible ones on at David's Bridal and some better ones at Helen's in Commack...are the double-tiered all one piece of tulle or are they two different ones tucked into the same comb?

Can you get veils in another fabric besides tulle?
