Has anyone gotten married at or been to a wedding at the Douglaston Manor recently? We checked it out over the weekend and the price was right for a Sat night in March or April..but now of course that has me concerned. I liked the look of the place..but would love some input about the food, service..etc... thanks!

I was there for a few Christmas parties for work. The food was very good and so was the service.

Re: Douglaston Manor
Hi there,
I was married there last October. We had a great wedding. Unforunately for us, mother nature didn't pull through. It rained most of the day. I couldn't have the outdoor ceremony that I wanted.
Douglaston pulled through for us and we had a great time. The ceremony went smooth, and the service was wonderful. The food and cake were fabulous!! We keep getting compliments from our guest.
Chris was our BM and the nicest guy. He never asked us for anything, I was the one asking him when he wanted the next deposit.
If I had to do it all over again, I would still pick Douglaston. My husband and I couldn't be happier. If you need anything else, let me know.

I have been to a wedding a Douglaston Manor....the food was pretty good. The cocktail hour was nice....it was held outside. I thought it was a beautiful place and if two our friends didn't get married there we might have looked into it
