douglaston, Russo's, Coral House, Roma,,,

Hello- I have just gotten engaged and started looking for a RH. I am looking at Douglaston Manor, Russo's on the Bay, Coral House or possibly Roma View because their pricing is alot lower. Anyone have any reviews or advice about these places?

I been to Douglaston Russo and Roma View

Douglaston Manor I went on New Years Eve and I loved the grounds but I dont know if it was set up for New Years, but I felt that the room was closed off.The food was ok and service was great.

Russo never had a bad time ever.Service,food,quality is always AMAZING. My Sister got married at Russo on the Bay which is the owner of Russo's son and it really was great.

Roma View is really nice and food is great

Coral House I have heard many mixed reviews,mainly that the food and service is bad.Never been though.

I was originally booked @ Douglaston, but had to cancel when I got pregnant, and ended up having my son's christening party there instead.

Now I'm booked @ The Coral House (DM wasn't available on my date).

I have had the food at both places, and they are both great. FM if you have any question...Congrats!!!

Had my sweet 16 at russos, loved it My fam also does TONS of partys at roma view, at least 5 a year. I HIGHLY reccomend them. Ask to speak with eric and tell him your Kathleen Scarpa's Friend, he will probably give you an even better deal :)

Thanks ladies, you don't know how much this helps. I will continue on... and post some reviews of my own in a few days when I have seen all my possibles...

You MUST look at Swan Club! Beautiful, and EXTREMELY reasonable. That is where I booked. And if you call to make an appt, make sure you ask for Jordanna! She is fantastic and works with you.

I looked at Coral house, GREAT food, and service..just too many affairs at one time for me. I saw like 3 brides walk passed me.
