Does anyone know of any sites that I can download free fonts from? I'd like something swirly, caligraphy like and use it to try making a monogram

Re: dpwnloading free fonts
Go to www.google.com and search for 'free fonts'. I went to one of those sites and found a beautiful script font that I used for my E-party invites and Save the Date magnets.

Re: dpwnloading free fonts
Marcella or anyone who knows, if one of us has the font, can we send it to each other? Like send an attachment in email, and the receiver could download it from there.
And we could all mix and match and share w/each other !!!!

Re: dpwnloading free fonts
I think we may be able to..
great idea!!
all you'd have to do is 'save as' it in your fonts folder.. I think..
(BTW did you get my forum mail>?)

Thanks Marcella, I responded.
I think we should be able to. Using that site, I actually had troulbe saving directly into my fonts folder, but that just may be my crappy computer. I had to save as to MY Documents, then export to my fonts folder, but it was totally worth it, I got like 25 new fonts !!!!!
Dubliner :I got your mail too and responded.
Who wants to start trading fonts?

Re: dpwnloading free fonts
I just tested it w/dubliner, so I'll let you know if it works, and tomorrow -- oops today -- it's after midnite, LOL
We have to start discussing what we have and what we would like.
I have so many cutesy ones, i have one called hearts, and all the letters are surrounded in hearts, way too much for a paragraph, but cute for names like Liz and Len in Love, or something like that.
Also I have another cutesy one called Starry night, wehre like half the letters have tiny stars above them, like the dots for the 'i's.
Plus i have the calligraphy, some swirly ones, and some other original ones that I downloaded, I LOVE them all. Iwonder if I could copy and paste a font to here, I'm gonna try now:
I have the Eduardian Script

Do you mean emailing the font to me didn't work?

Re: dpwnloading free fonts
No dubliner, that worked fine, I was trying to see if I could put the font on my post but it came out same print as everything else.
I emailed you 5 different fonts. Check your email and your forum mail.

Re: dpwnloading free fonts
You are too cute, btw, it will be MUCH easier to do on your home PC, by just downloading the ones I gave you. If you have trouble w/the sloop script one from that site, I will download it to my home computer and email it to you also.
