DRAMA!

FMIL is PSYCHO!

It's 35 days till the wedding and she has the cojones to call me and tell me that she 'doesn't think' that Mr and Mrs X are coming sooooo can we invite her cousin that I have never even met! Then she says 'well not a lot of my family is coming'!
And that's our fault!
And did I mention that my fiance and I are paying for the majority of the wedding with a little help from my parents... and his parents came straight out and told my family that the brides family pays for everything...
Is it 1950??? I just loved the comments that FMIL made to FSIL that her dad better start saving for her wedding now!... well what about the other 2 kids... ?!?!!?
AGH... Sorry I just had to vent. I've been holding it in for weeks..

Weddings DO bring out the worst in people. I have never argued so much in my life. I am sorry you are going through this. I hope it gets better soon!!

I just had this dream since I was little that both families would love each other and get along so well (like my mom and dads families) but it just s*cks that it's not going to turn out like that...

no one told me about this kind of thing so it's just hitting me like a ton of bricks...

*sigh* but 'this too shall pass!'

i felt i was sooo lucky that both sides liked each other... then something happened when my mom and FMIL and FSIL were discussing my shower and ALL H E L L broke loose!!!

now they don't like each other anymore! great!

and my mother tells me that she was discussing with my stepsister that some of my registry is just going to collect dust! W T H??? who are you to say what i will or will not use??? it was the smoothie maker and fajita pan. FYI- we make fajitas ALL THE TIME!!! and i LOOOOOVE the smoothie makers. THey blow blenders away with frozen drinks! so i told my mother to refrain from telling me that people are making comments about ANY of my decisions!!! i have enough aggrevation!!!

Tracyg, you have the only answer that I was looking for... Tell my mom and my sister to not tell me what people say... I don't want to know ANY comments that ANYONE makes!!
