Drama with Bridesmaids!!!! VENT!!

I am having so much trouble with two of my bridesmaid. One of them went to take her dress to be altered with some that she know. She get a call two days from a friend of her and she was told that his apt. was in a fire. All in a nut shell, that dress was in that apt. and it is gone. Now we are trying to get her to buy material for him to sew the dress since he is a designer. I just hope she gets the dress in time of the wedding which is last then 3 and a half weeks left.

The other bridesmaid find out that she is unable to walk in my wedding because she has to go to a mandatory training for her new job. She explained to them that she had to go to a wedding but they said she had to go. She will still be able to attend the reception but not the ceremony. I have someone in mind in taking her place. I could also give the first bridesmaid the dress and they just refund her money but the first bridesmaid wears a size 6 and the second bridesmaid wears a 16. So, that is what is going on. I will keep you guys updated.

can you other bm talk to the designer and see if it can be taken in that much, or maybe if not he can just use that fabric to make her dress.

You made a good suggestion by giving one girl the other girls dress, but the one who can go to the reception only, will she be introduced?? If so she cans till be included and introduced

It will be too much to take in. That is exactly what they are going to do. It is easier that way.
