Dream about wedding at Leonard's

Dream about wedding at Leonard's

I had a dream last night that I had my wedding at Leonard's. It's weird because our top choices are Larkfield Manor and Westbury Manor. Leonard's is probably a third runner up even though FH didn't really love it, he said it was just okay. It would be the best one for us as far as location and price. They do offer an outdoor ceremony option and also have a beautiful indoor chapel. Do you think it's a sign??? We've looked at 22 halls and have kinda put our hall decision on the shelf lately due to the financial strain of the holidays. I've kinda let Leonard's slip from our main choices because I've heard some not so great things about them and it causes me to worry a little.

wow 22 places, you must be tired of it already, i couldn't even imagine. Did you ever check out tavern on the green? They have a small room there and MANY brides have said that the prices are extremely good. I can find out for you. Also to help yourself, just start eliminating alot of those places off your list. Like those that are more than what you want to pay, that dont offer everything you're looking for and those that dont have certain things you maybe be looking for and so on.

Well, did you enjoy the wedding in your dream?

No, I didn't check out Tavern on the Green yet. I keep forgetting about it. Does anyone have a price quote from them to give me an idea of how much it is pp? I don't want to spend more than $65pp for a Sat or Sun afternoon. I never would have thought of Tavern on the Green because I know it's really pricey to eat dinner there. We have narrowed our 22 places visited down to 3 that we like. I plan to visit maybe another 5 more places then we'll make a decision. I guess I'll check out Tavern on the Green, Watermill (although we really don't want to do Suffolk, but we love Larkfield), KofC Oceanside, KofC Seaford and anywhere else that pops up for our price that will do a 50-60 person minimum.

I'm not sure if I enjoyed my dream wedding, lol. It was one of those dreams where you remember just the basic idea and not the details. I guess my brain is just trying to help me decide in my sleep...

I was worried about Leonard's too but honestly they were great during my wedding. (I think it may be due to my being the only wedding there that night). Everyone raved about the food and service, it was great and they did everything I asked them too (votive placecards, my own menus, ect.)

When I started looking I checked them out and Tavern on the green quoted me $200 per person. I quickly eliminated them

yeah but not for the main room, thats expensive. They have a small party room and the maximum is about 75 actually might be just a little bit less...thats the room i am talking about.

Alot of people have been raving about Leonards. I checked it out for the sake of it, but it just wasnt the place for me.
They, did, however in 2005, offer for 2006 decent prices. So if $ is an issue, you can find a reasonable price there, and so far all the girls who had their wedding at Leonards, are grading it A's and B's.

I went to a wedding at The Westbury Manor. It poured on the Brides day, so I didn't notice that much scnery and grounds they had, but the food was delicious, but the cocktail hour was very small.

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks Espo, that would be great!!! It would save me the long train ride into the city! Uggghhh. I think the RH is going to be the hardest decision.

also did you try out the irish coffe pub, i think thats the name of it. A couple of girls here are getting married there or had some sort of party there. Everyone seems to rave about it, the food and place itself. I also heard its pretty cheap, some people posted the price and it was under $75pp, i think i might've also seen it at under $60
