My bestie and I drove two hours to see my DREAM DRESS, Martina Liana 260, and it wasn't a dream for me It didn't work for me. I am short, and it didnt work. This was my first time, going dress shopping, and I HATED The place I went to, that were rude and I felt like it was a waste of two hours. The lady bascially told me, why did I drive two hours to dress shop and she knew I wouldn't get my dress there because it was two hours away. I TOLD her I would drive 10 hours away, if I love the dress. I have a brand new car, so I don't mind putting miles on it. She totally turned me off from dress shopping, and I need a wedding dress NOW.

Re: DREAM DRESS VENT
Boooooo!!! Where did you go for it? If you say Jersey, I have one guess where. My mom and I went to a shop there to see the dress as well, and the woman could not have been more rude.
And I agree...I'm 5'3', and my shortness is really in my torso. From when the lady hooked the skirt on to me, I couldn't even look in the mirror. I yelled for my mom to come see it so I could take it off immediately.
Edit: just realized you said where you went. I went to another shop, super close to there actually, in Jersey...stupid that they were both so rude.

Re: DREAM DRESS VENT
People are stupid. There could have been a million reasons you drove up there and now she'll never get business from you or anyone you know. What a moron.
Don't let one bad experience turn you off, there are so many good salons on Long Island. Now that you've figured out that dress didn't work, pick some of the elements about it that you love, show pictures to the consultant whereever you go and see what they pull for you. You'll find another dress to drool over, I promise!

Re: DREAM DRESS VENT
I had that happen once - though I never thought it was my 'dream dress' just an amazing dress that I HAD TO try on. I drove all the way to a bridal store in CT to try it on and when I put it I was like 'No way' LOL.
