Has anyone stayed in one of these? did you like it? are they preferable to sandals? worse? any input woudl be GREAT! :) We are thinking of staying at Dreams in Cabo for our HM!

I have never stayed there but know a bunch of people who have and they loved it!! We are looking at one of the Secrets resorts for our HM. They are the adult only version of Dreams.

hmm... good to know! the dreams in Cabo is adults only I believe. I never thought of that. I have to check now lol

Yes they are the same owner. Its pretty much like the whole Sandles - Beaches thing. Same managaemnet but one is for families and one is adults only.I am almost 100% sure that Dreams is kid friendly, so if you want adults only I would suggest Secrets. We are looking at Secrets Maroma beach -- check it out!!

Yeah I think they are both wonderful resorts. One of the things I really liked about Excellence was their 2 story suite with the huge hydro tub on the balcony. I priced it out for 7 night in that suite, all inclusive and it was 4,000. Not too bad at all. They are both great resort chains though, so either way you go it will be nice!

Oh my gosh you have to look at it -- it is amazing!!! I know what you mean about Sandals -- it has everything that I want, but just way too much money to get all of that extra stuff. I want to have all of those extras on my HM but not pay a crazy amount, that is why I liked these 2 resorts. You do not have to be a club member - what that is, is that you get extra features. If you click on the link it tells you all the extra stuff you would get if you chose a club room. For me, I didnt want to pay the extra 1,000 for it, but it is definetly nice!
