i don't think it was intentional. maybe she saw soemthing she loved and just went for it. my mil did this, after we spend one day going to 3 different stores, she went on her own and found one, i never saw it until the week of the wedding.

don't stress it, i don't think she meant any harm.

My mom has a tendency to go shopping w/ my aunt. Which is totally fine with me. My only request was that I see the dress before she actually bought it. My mom has great taste. I'm just more concerned about the color. She looooooooooves black and I said she could wear any other color but black.

awww I'm so sorry! Don't worry about it. My mom will probably go shopping with me, but she may go with my aunt during the holidays when she's off from school. I would say she'd do most of the shopping with me though.
