I went to Selia Yang yesterday. She is a less known designer here in NYC and her stuff is gorgeous! If you are looking for something very simple and elegant, I would highly recommend that you go to her salon. She uses amazing fabrics. She is a bit pricey, I believe her dresses start at about $2k, but they are stunning.
I am going back to try on my top 3 choices next Friday with my mom, but I really think that the Selia Yang gown is it! I can't post the picture, but it's the 'Eva' if you go to: www.seliayang.com

I was starting to get very frustrated, I went to a number of places in NYC and was not blown away. I will post my reveiew of each salon I visited once I make my final decision, hopefully next week!
