i got mine at macys bridal suite in lake grove it still isnt in yet she said it typically takes 6-8 months for it to come in so it should be in earliest october and latest decemeber for me, i wasnt going to order it but she told me they would keep it there till i was ready to pick it up. I would check them out they have alot of gorgeous dresses!

I got mine in April for my October 2013 wedding I wasn't planning on buying, but there was a trunk show for the designer I wanted and I fell in LOVE with a dress. So I got it lol. Now I look at other dresses and are like I love mine, it's so much better lol - so I know I found THE ONE. My place lets me keep it there until a few days before the wedding.

I went immediately I couldn't WAIT and I knew what I wanted. Unfortunately it's the ONLY thing I was so sure about hahah (except saying Yes of course!)

I bought mine through David's Bridal, it came in really fast. Like a month after I ordered it fast. And they told me that they don't hold dresses there. So it really depends on where you buy from. It's not a big deal to me since we have plenty of closet space and it's in a garment bag that you can't see through.

The only problem is I want to visit it sometimes.

I found my dress already.. I havent ordered it yet because I have to get my shoes first because they have to measure me for a hollow to hem because you cant hem the bottom of the dress because its scalloped lace. Hopefully I will order within the next month or two. It takes about 8 months to come in and my place will hold it for me until the wedding. SO excited!!!

How far in advance are you going to order your dress? I can't wait to start trying on dresses but I have a lot of time lol

I'm a 2014 bride and I plan on starting to look at dresses in July! I'm going waaaaay in advance, but I don't plan on buying yet. I just want to start narrowing down what shapes/styles look good on me and find a designer I like. That way I can wait for discounts and trunk shows.

I'm 11 months out, and I haven't started - OOPS.
