I've gone to Bridal Suite of Centereach and they were so nice! I also got my prom dress there a long time ago and had a great experience. I'm planning on going to Village Bridal in Babylon people on here had great things to say (and their sister store NY Bridal Outlet), and I went to Fantasia in Rocky Point for bridesmaids dresses a couple of times (they also have tuxes) and they were very nice.

Re: Dress
I got my dress at Max Bridal in Mineola, and I love them! They are not pushy and only take one bride at a time. Not a huge store with a big selection but still I tried one like 6-8 gowns. I went in thinking I wanted one thing and I left with something totally different, and I absolutely love my dress.Courtney and Jillian were my consultants and were wonderful to work with.

I'm sure you're excited to try on dresses but I would really try to wait! So many new dresses will come out between now and then. I know it's very tempting though

I second bridal suite of centereach! They have been nice and helpful so far. Debbie was awesome, hoping I can work with her again this week for my mom. They offered things cheaper then bridal suite bay shore also. I got my dress and my bridesmaids there.

Congratulations and Welcome! I agree with one of the ladies! As fun and exciting as it is to try and look for dresses, I would really try to wait. Browse online to see which styles you like best (and want to try on) and then go when the current collections are out. I bought my dress from Demetrios in Manhasset. For me it was the best. The best experience and the most helpful. Happy Planning.

I'm getting married in 2017 and I am so tempted to go as well. My best friend went to David's bridal and they were very helpful. But for the bridesmaids for her wedding we got them from Helens Bridal In commack. Ashley was great and was very honest.

I would recommend waiting..it is still so far away so you have plenty of time and you don't want to pick one and then new dresses come out that you may wish you got instead!

Definitely wait. Lots of new collections will be coming out in 2016 or if you like a dress now and try it on, there's no telling if that dress will be available when you are ready to purchase. As for places, if you really know what you want, I would try RK Bridal in Manhattan. They have great prices, selection, and they have a brand new showroom (haven't been to the new location myself). My only recommendation is to go during the week; on weekends, I hear it is like a zoo!

I bought my dress almost 2 years before the wedding at Kleinfeld's. I also had good experiences at Bridal Suite in Bay Shore, Village Bridal Babylon, and Helen's in Commack (this is where bridesmaids ordered from)Welcome New Vendors
