Hi girls,
I have a question. Has anyone had the seamstress at Macy's in Manhasset named Faye alter their dresses? I am asking because I think I want to get more beading put on my dress. I didn't ask for it to have the extra beading put on when I ordered it becasue Faye said it would be about $500 more and I wasn't willing to shell out that much more $$. But then this week I was thinking about how there was another demetrios dress I liked more and maybe I jumped the gun on ordering the other (cheaper) dress, so i called Macy's to ask them if I could get my deposit back on the one I ordered and change my order. They said probably not since they already got a shipment date for the one I did order. My main concern about the one I did order is that while everyone said that it fitted me better, or suited my figure better, I thought it was too plain looking on the bottom. So I really would rather have Faye alter it, but I wanted to know how other dresses she altered came out. I think she knows her stuff, she seems very knowledgeable, but I just wanted to know other's thoughts if they used her. Thank you!!
