DRESS!!!! Advice needed...

So today we went dress shopping for the first time and it was SOOOOO fuN!!!! we only made it to one appt though with the crazy weather and crazy city traffic. I tried on a Priscilla of Boston dress that I LOVED but it was a little out of my price range... they were able to work with me on the price and we could get a good deal on it but the thing is it was the first place I went to... and I feel like I want to try on more! I loved this dress and would be SO happy just knowing it's my dress, but I am a little torn! I need to let them know tomorrow by 4!

How did you KNOW it was your dress? What would you do?

The dress will be there, so don't feel rushed!!!! I purchased my dress the first day I tried on dresses and I was having buyers remorse after. After freaking out for days, i tried it on again and realized why I fell in love with it!!!!!

My dress was one of the ones I tried on the first time I went. It was the fifth dress and I knew it was the 'one' because I was speechless! When my dress came in the beginning of the month and I put 'my' dress on, I knew again that I was wearing the one! Then again when I went to a veil show and was wearing my dress' sample dress, I knew I still made the right choice!

Don't rush the process. You will know when its the one! Good luck!

i personally wouldn't make a rushed decision

the deal they are giving you now, they will give you a week, two weeks or a month from now! they are just trying to make a sale!

I def think all girls should go to a few stores before they say yes...you never know!

it cant hurt to look again

and when i knew it was my dress...i just knew, i was super happy in it and didn't want to take it off, i wanted to jump up and down and run to the aisle with it!

and it was prob the 100th dress i tried on lol

dont rush try on as many dresses as you can. I sort of wish I did this instead of taking one of the first 5 dresses I picked. When else can you try on these beautiful dresses ever again.

POB was the first and only place I went to! I tried on about 6 dresses and I loved the third one I tried and I kept saying to myself its exactly what I want and I love it so why keep looking and I purchased it on the spot! I was sad that I wouldnt get to try on anymore dresses bc it was so fun but I knew I made the right decision!

The third dress I tried on ended up being 'MY' dress! I went to 3 other stores and tried on probably 20 other dresses, and all I could do was compare each one to 'my' dress, so thats how I knew!

Take your time and try on some more to be sure. Like the pp said, you will be able to find the dress, and maybe even get a better deal!

Don't be rushed! I almost learned the hard way. I fell MADLY in love with a dress...I actually stalked it. I tired it on Long Island and then when I was in the city I tried it on there too! I was rushed into purchasing it because it was being disconitued. It came in and I went to pick it up and was CRYING!! It just didn't look right or was what I wanted.

Luckily, I switched from that dress to a new one..but other brides would of been stuck with it.

Regardless, if you love the dress it will be there and if its not it wasn't meant to be.

I bought the first dress and tried on and I did start second guessing it a few months later. But all I have to do is look at a picture of it on me and I fall in love again.

If you didn't get that 'oh my god this is it' feeling than wait and look around some more. The dress will still be there in a few weeks, and most likely the discount will be too

i honestly went looking and looking. i never had that *moment*; my mom/sister/grandmother or I never shed a tear. I found one that I liked at the second store I went to, but kept looking bc i wasnt certain and it was slightly out of budget. I must have tried on over 50 dresses and i decided on mine based on price...and look of course. i like the original one slightly more but love this one too and it was $500 cheaper which was a huge deal for me. IMO no bride looks ugly on her wedding day! pick a dress that makes you smile and you are comfortable in.

My dress was the EXACT opposite of what I thought I wanted but it looked so cute on the hanger I decided to try it on anyways. No tears but I giggled and smiled the entire time I had it on. When I brought my mom FMIL, sister and 2 BMs to see it they all agreed that it was not what they expected but was still totally 'me'. Other dresses just didn't compare. Good luck with your decision and don't let anyone pressure you into buying. Unless it's being discontinued there's no reason to rush and there are other POB stores who are equally willing to negotiate if they give you a hard time.

DONT RUSH. I HATE WHEN STORES MAKE YOU DECIDE BY A CERTAIN TIME FRAME. THATS BC THEY JUST WANT $$$$$$

TAKE YOUR TIME. YOU DONT WANT TO BUY IT, THEN LOVE ANOTHER ONE A LITTLEEEE BIT MORE AND FEEL STUCK.

WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING IS SO EMOTIONALLY FUN, DRAINING, EXCITING, SCARY, ETC.

DONT RUSH, LOOK AROUND A LITTLE MORE, IF YOU STILL LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THE DRESS AND CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT, ITS YOURS.

i never cried when i found my dress.... im just not that person that gets emotional about things like that, i need something important like a kitchen appliance commercial to make me cry....
