Dress alteration question

Hey girls.
I haven't gone shopping for dresses yet, except looking online. But I've found a ton of dresses I like, only they are off the shoulder. Do you think bridal shops can alter the straps so that they stay on the shoulder instead? I prefer the style better. Thanks!!

They might. It seems like they can do anything these days!

It might, however, be easier to get a strapless dress and have straps put on. Maybe. Your best bet would be to ask a tailor. It seems like the off-the-shoulder style isn't one of the more popular ones so I don't know if there are many ladies here who had thay style.
