dress alterations

hi everyone
i was wondering, does anyone know how long/how much it would be to get my wedding dress hemmed? i ordered it from off line and i will need to get it hemmed. problem is i'll only have a month from when i get it to the wedding date. what do you guys think?

Depends on the dress how much it will cost.

If they only need to have inches taken off from the bottom of the dress, it will probably run you around $75. If there is detailing on the bottom, and the dress has to be shortened from the waist, then that would be closer to $100-$150.

I would check with your dress manufacturer to be sure that either of these can be done. I was told my dress had to be shortened by the manufacturer directly, and any other way would have ruined the dress.
