Do you girls know if you buy a dress that is too big, like 2 whole sizes, can it be altered to a smaller size? Or are alterations only for minor adjustments? Just wondering b/c I saw a dress that I liked, and I saw it on Ebay, brand new for real cheap, but it's 2 sizes too large for me. Can that be adjusted to 2 sizes smaller?

Are you sure the dress isnt perfect size for you? MOST wedding dresses run 2 sizes small... Like if you normally wear a size 10 you buy a 14 in a wedding dress.
Now that I think about it is that running small or large? I dont know ANYWAY... I need a nap.

When I bought my wedding dress, I was in the mist of losing weight on WW, they told me as long as it generally fits it can be taken in.

Be careful and check sizing because I looked at dresses yesterday and a size 10 in street clothes would be a 14 or 16 in some of the dresses.
