Dress alterations

I won my dress from the Wedding Center in Commack. After hearing everything everyone has had to say about the place, and my own experience, I do NOT want to get it altered there. Anyone know of anywhere I should check out that would do my alterations (without costing an arm and a leg) even though I didn't get my dress from them?

Dress alterations

I may be having my dress altered somewhere other than a bridal salon. My friend suggested Millie in Floral Park. She does it out of her house and used to own a bridal shop in Franklin Square. Search 'Alterations by Millie'.

Dress alterations

any bridal shop will do but you may want to find a shop that carries the same brand of dress. most shops will only alter the ones they sell. or you might have to pay more!

Do you the price range of her alterations? I'm debating if I should have my dress altered where I bought it as well as my BMs.

my dress is a discontinued dress. It's an Alfred Angelo. Floral Park is a little bit far for me, anyone know of any closer to Islip?

I went to her, and she quoted me $400. I went elsewhere, and I got quoted $250 and doing much more work. If you want my seamstress, let me know.

Dress alterations

There's a bridal store in islip on main street. I brought my dress their after having a nightmare with another bridal salon. I believe it's called Angel Bridals. They were very helpful and I felt like I could trust them with hemming my dress

Go to Rosalba at Angel Bridal in east islip. It's a small shop. They are wonderful to work with.

i think renate's in lindenhurst sells alfred angelo. we got my girls bm dresses there and they are amazing.

My SIL had her dress altered by an independent seamstress who did beautiful work fairly quickly and inexpensively. She actually saved her dress. She was located in a dry cleaner in Huntington. Let me know if you want her information. I have it somewhere...
