Dress Color

What color gown did you order? I hear most girls wear Ivory today, wanted to make sure I made the right choice. I ordered a Marissa in Ivory.

natural, which is like a diamond white (it's raw silk)

I chose white. I think I'm old fashioned that way. My mom prob would have cried if i didn't get white. But whatever looks best on you is the best choice

I originally ordered my dress in antique gold after seeing a tiny little swatch. When I told my dad and FH, I ordered the off white/gold, they both got mad at me and said, What you're not wearing white to your one and only wedding. Needless to say, I switched and I'm glad I did. But the color, should really depend on your skin tone and what you really love and feel comfortable with.

Ivory looks white, unless there is something whiter next to it. My mom too was a little unahppy when she found out dress was Ivory, but when I tried it on she couldn't tell it wasn't white!

My dress is diamond white. It is not as white as a white gown but it is paler than Ivory.

I am going back and forth over the same thing. I think I might go with the ivory though. Don't know what to do either.

I think Ivory or Diamond white is more attractive personally. The too white reminds me of refrigerator white and it just doesn't seem as elegant. JMO.... I have olive skin tone so that may be why too.

Wearing Ivory does not mean you are not wearing white... LOL! Ivory is a another shade of white like an off-white. Ivory is also a traditonal color. You choose which shade of white depending on preference and skin tone _ Ivory, White, natural, diamond white (or whatever color the designer wants to name it...LOL)

I'm so pale- lt gold looked better than ivory! it is more of a champagne with gold accents but the manufacturer had lt gold listed! my fh goes: gold?? your dress is gold?!
