Dress Color

What color gown did you order? I hear most girls wear Ivory today, wanted to make sure I made the right choice. I ordered a Marissa in Ivory.

I'm so pale- lt gold looked better than ivory! it is more of a champagne with gold accents but the manufacturer had lt gold listed! my fh goes: gold?? your dress is gold?!

I want to freak my FH out and post a picture of like an awful wedding dress as my background on my computer... I want to see him freak. I use to have the dress I liked as the background so he will think its the dress and

I picked ivory cause white just doesn't look good on me. And when I first started looking for dresses I wanted a lace dress so I was always looking for an ivory dress. (l think ivory lace is soooo pretty.)

My dress is diamond white. It is not as white as a white gown but it is paler than Ivory.

Mine was white. I tried on some ivory gowns and just didnt like the way it looked on me.

I was set on getting white b/c I know my mom wanted me to get it (even though I'm living with my FH in sin, ha ha ha). When I tried on a lot of white dresses, they definitely looked nice on me...but then when I found 'the dress', they only carried it in the story in ivory. When my mom saw it on me, she didn't care that it was ivory b/c it looked perfect on me. She was then set on me getting it in ivory. I think a lot of brides are getting ivory today b/c it isn't as 'yellow' as it used to be. My dress is very subtle. You can barely tell that it's ivory. Just get whatever looks best on you.

mine is ivory - and it looks white to me i happen to think most fabrics look nicer when they aren't so bright white - so that is why i chose ivory - i actually thought that the ivory was white but then they showed me a white dress and i really saw the difference - the white was very stark compared to the ivory....when they are on they all look white to me no matter if its ivory, diamond white, white, etc.

i didn't want white cause i'm really pale and my skin doesnt tan well. my dress is silk and the color is a very light champagne color almost. but in the pic in my album it almost looks white.
