Any suggestions on where to go for a good selection?! I have been to a few different places. I have found a few dresses that I liked, but just didn't get that feeling that everyone says you get!
Also, any reviews on Pronovias flag ship store?

Not sure where you're looking, but I went to Bridal Suite of Bay Shore and Paradise Bridal of Patchogue. I think Paradise's selection was a little bigger.

Just keep searching....i thought Id never feel it either! I felt bad dragging my mom to all these places for me to hate everything I put on.
David's Bridal had a big selection & so did Helen's in Commack

I went to Bridal Suite in Centereach. They had a big selection of Maggie dresses and in the end I got a completely different designer! Keep searching you'll find your dream dress!

if you're looking for pronovias I know the wedding plaza in floral park carries them as well as other designers......I loved so many dresses there

I went to Village Bridal today & Lillettes and I loved both. I actually just said Yes To The Dress about 2 hrs ago and Lillettes. Gerri is THE BEST!!

I'd say it depends on your budget. If you want to narrow it down and make it easier on yourself I'd suggest going to the city to RK Bridal or Kleinfelds, and hit up Pronovias while you are there. If you do a search on this site I think you can find all sorts of reviews on the Pronovias store in the city. I remember reading a few. I didn't have the largest budget and I went to a ton of stores on LI. I tried on wayyyyyy too many dresses. I was really picky. I wanted a trumpet or fit and flare. A lot of stores had tight mermaids but not those two. You can FM if you want more info on these styles bc I can tell you which stores carried a larger selection/variety and which didn't. I honestly wish I wasn't so stubborn and went into the city right away to at least narrow down what I wanted.

I got mt dress at Pronovias! I love everything about them, the store in the city is amazing and so much better then Klienfelds. The prices really range. Call and double check, but I think the starting price is $1500. When I was there they had a dress in the window for$40,000. So they really have something for everyone.

I went to kleinfelds and Macy's on 34th st. I bought at kleinfelds and had a great experience.
