dress dilemma

i've got 6 more hours to decide if i want to bid on an oscar de la renta wedding gown for roughly $2000. my budget for my wedding dress is $1000. Am i justified to spend this much on my wedding dress?

I feel as though if you can afford it then sure why not. Just remember this may mean you have to cut back somewhere else if you are working with an inflexible budget.

i agree. also if it's on ebay make sure that the seller is someone reputable who has a high positive selling feedback rating.

i love oscar de la renta You should go with what makes you happy and maybe cut back on a later expense.

If it's out of your budget, I say no... but only you know what you can afford.

Of course! If you want the dress then get it! Just be prepared to cut back in other areas!

Have u tried this dress on somewhere else? I would be scaredto buy a dress I havn't seen on. But if you are sure this is THE dress and you can afford the extra money- go for it!

i haven't tried the dress on before, but i've tried styles very similar. it kinda makes me nervous that i haven't tried on this exact dress. it also makes me nervous it's on ebay, but the seller has 100% positive feedback. they specialize in selling designer gowns. their return policy is if i contact them within 24 hours of receipt and i decide i don't want to keep it, i can return it for a full refund of the price of the dress minus shipping within 5 days. i guess that's good. that would be my back up plan.
