dress fitting

I bought my dress in Georgia but i have a location in NY that is going to alter it.

Now i am trying to loss a little weight. When would you suggest i should take it for my first fitting?

I called the bridal salon but they didn't really give me an answer.

my wedding is sept 26th.

I already got my dress and my wedding is in september too, they told me to come back with my dress 7 weeks before the wedding for the alterations. If you are planning to loose more weight then I think you should wait.
