Dress Fitting Pics

Original post by GR2010

So tonight I had my first dress fitting and I have to say I came away a little disappointed. While I was there trying it on I was happy and really liked it but now when I look at the pictures I don't like the way the dress fits me compared to the pictures of me in the sample. I know it had to be taken in a bunch (sample was a 10 and my dress is a 12) and I'm really just hoping that once it's all done I'll like the way it's shaped a little more but as of right now I'm just 'eh so-so' about it. I don't go for my next fitting for another 3 weeks which is pretty much the week before the wedding. I'm hoping they get ir right,

You look absolutely beautiful!!! I know how you feel though about not looking the way the sample did. I tried on a sample in about 8 sizes bigger than what they ordered. So it looked nothing like what I had expected.

Just make sure you're very vocal about what you want!! My first fitting I didnt speak up and ended up crying on the way home. The next fitting I told them exactly what I wanted and they fixed it!

You're going to look amazing in that dress!

I was the same way!!! I think it looks stunning on you! Once it's tailored to fit you right it's gonna blow the sample out of the water!

Re: Dress Fitting Pics

Since it's your first fitting, I wouldn't worry too much about how it looks because none of the alterations have been done. The real test will be your next fitting and judging by how you look now (i think it looks great), you're going to be absolutely stunning next time around!

It's gorgeous - I've always loved your dress - it's different and so elegant! Just to maybe make you feel better, I didn't love my dress (after I ordered it) until the last fitting (I had 3). It was such a work in progress until then but don't worry, they will get it right!! It's already beautiful on you!!

THANK YOU GIRLS!!! I feel a lot better about it today!!! The alterations it needs is pretty simple so I definitely think they will get it right

And hey if they don't get it right I'm swiping the sample LOL!
