How soon before your wedding do you go for a fitting?

How many fittings does one normally have?

I think 2 fittings is pretty typical (I had 3, but didn't really need the 3rd). I had my 1st fitting 2 months before the wedding.

Mine was four weeks before and I had three fittings.

my first fitting is Jan 7 and then I have two more fitting two weeks apart...my wedding is feb 18
