So I went for my first fitting last week and at the time I thought my dress had a lot less lace than I remembered but thought since it was so many months from when I ordered It that I was just being crazy. When I got home I compared pictures to the pictures of the sample and there was a very clear difference. After talking to the dress shop she said that the girls added lace to the sample to cover up any wear and tear from it being tried on so much and that's why there was more lace. Nobody ever made me aware of this before ordering it. So she offered to have more lace put on to make it look more like the sample. My anxiety is sky high now that I have to wait to see how it comes out...do you think that was the right decision to have them add it? Do these seamstresses do this kind of stuff a lot???
I can't tell the difference in the picture but I'd be so angry! if they said they'll add more free of charge then I wouldn't worry but they definitely should have told you!

They def should have mentioned that they added lace to the dress you tried on. While your dress looks amazing on you, if you noticed so quickly that the sample you tried on had more lace then you def made the right decision in having them add it to your dress. If you notice it now, you'll notice it on your wedding day. Also, if it was added to the sample, and you didnt realize it wasn't part of the original dress I'm sure the seamstress will be able to add it to your dress just as seamlessly. Its already beautiful on you. Take a deep breathe and just keep demanding they fix it until its what you want and what they made it look like you were ordering!

I can't see the difference, but this is your dress for your wedding and it should be perfect. They should fix it to your satisfaction.

If you don't get it changed it'll bother you. Have the seamstress add more lace, they should have told you.

Love the dress either way! If you liked the original way I would recommend having them add it and they definitely should have told you ahead of time. Where did you get the dress?

I can't see the difference, but that's a BEAUTIFUL dress either way! I agree with the girls that say that they should provide you with a dress that matches the sample, because that's what you bought, though.

I totally see the difference there are more appliques. That is crazy how different they look. They really should order a new sample. Make sure they take care of that and you get exactly what you want

My dress is a Marisa dress . I got mine at bridal reflections, but a lot of bridal places carry this designer.
