Dress Help!!!

so here's the problem... my dress is coming in sometime in July and my wedding isnt until May 08. The store told me once it comes in i can come pick it up and keep it at home until i have to start coming in for fittings. Im afraid that the dress will start to turn yellow from not being preserved? is that to long to keep it out, HELP i dont know what to do. im afraid to ask the bridal shop to store it for me because i dont want anyone else trying the dress on
any suggestions

I'm sure it will be fine.

My mom never got her dress preserved. When she moved recently, we found it in the attic and it was the same color it was on her wedding day (over 30 yrs ago!)
