Okay ladies... This may sound really dumb but I need advice. I absolutely LOVE my dress. Like I cant even begin to describe the feeling I have when I put it on. However, I never wanted a ballgown but I think its just a little too straight. Do you think that adding a few layers of toole would take away from the dress or make it look funny? Pics in my album. TIA!!

Re: Dress Help
It's hard to tell from a picture. It depends on where the toole would start to fill out the dress. Is it possible to go back to the store and try the dress on with some type of toole skirt underneath to get an idea of how the dress would look filled out?

Re: Dress Help
I think with a tulle it should be fine. My dress is somewhat that style and the designer just added the tulle at the bottom of the dress to make it flare.

I don't think I like the tulle being added. It looks woonderful the way it is on you! I think if you add the tulle it will fall differently. But I am not the most feminine girl out there, who knows... I could be completely wrong.

Re: Dress Help
It's beautiful, but if you want to add tulle talk to the bridal shop you got it from. If I were to add tulle (which I wouldn't but that's because I have a fit & flare because I don't like poof at all), I would do it to the bottom and make it a fuller mermaid-ish style.

You look beautiful in the dress! I think when the train is fully stretched out it wont look too straight going down the aisle, and when you are dancing you may like that it is straight. I agree with the other girls, try it out at the store before you make any permanent changes. I cant wait to be where you are!

Re: Dress Help
I havent ordered the dress yet because they have to do a hollow to hem because im so short and i have to get my shoes first. I think thats why im kinda being as critical as i am. Im going next weekend with my aunt to see the dress so ill try it on with a slip to see how it looks. Ill def post pics when i get them! Thanks for the advice ladies! I appreciate it!!!

Re: Dress Help
The dress is BEAUTIFUL on you! If you want to see it with a bit more fullness at the bottom, can't you just try on one of the under skirts (don't remember the real name of them)? I remember I tried a dress similar in style to yours on and the store had an underskirt that added fullness only at the bottom. That way you don't have to make any changes to the dress itself.
