Dress is IN!!!!!

My dress is in, and I'm going tomorrow to try it on.

I can't schedule a fitting until closer to my date, but I wanted to get 'jacked up' with veil and headband and my jewelry and shoes to see what works best.

And don't worry, I know not to buy my veil and headband there, I just want to see what goes together.

So, what questions should I ask. I want to ask about bras, but since it's a corsette dress, I don't know if that's necessary. is there anything else I should be on the lookout for.

You can ask about options for bustles...some alterations people charge more for one bustle than the other. If you plan on losing any weight, I would see the latest times you can get your 1st, second and final fittings done. Like, exact dates. This way you can set goals for yourself.

you can ask about cups put into the dress if you dont want a bra? Also ask about undergarments and when you need to have them by if your planning on using any. HTH & GL!! I loved my first fitting, my second is on Tuesday and I cant wait!

Definitely ask about undergarments. If the dress is corseted on top, try and convince them to put cups in the dress.

Otherwise ask about the fitting time period, your bustle options (this is something you might want to go home a research)... and it might even be smart to ask them what they need to do to the dress to 'alter' ( so you are aware of all the places that dress will be skin tight).

Thanks..I'm not going to be meeting with the seamstress. This is just to see it and try it on with the veil, not a fitting. So I don't know how helpful those girls will be.

Gosh, I tried on my dress (not for a fitting) just to figure out a veil, and I STILL can not make up my mind.
