I was planning on wearing heels throughout the day, then change into flats for the party, but someone mentioned that it might be an issue because of the height difference with the dress length. The heels I'm wearing are 4' heels.....anyone think it'll be a problem? Or should I not even worry about it?

Re: Dress length...
It is going to make the dress drag on the floor a little more because you will be closer to the ground but I wouldn't worry about it too much. I plan on changing into flats too!

Re: Dress length...
it will definately make the dress drag. i thought for sure i was going to change my shoes before the wedding, but then like 3 days before the wedding, my mom and sister kinda dared me and said i woul dnever be able to make it in my heels from the moment i put them on that morning to the moment i took them off that night. when i told DH, he told me i should take the bet. i did, i didn't even bring my flats the day off, and even though my feet were killing me at the end of the day, i was so proud of myself to keeping them on all night!

Crashing!
I couldn't take it, I HAD to change into flats! It was like the last hour of the reception and I was nicely buzzed, so i just held part of my dress in my hand as I was dancing so I didn't drag too much. My heels were 4.5 inches, it was quite a drop!

Re: Dress length...
I want to take them off for comfort as well, but mostly because I don't want to be the same height as FH all night, when we're dancing it would be nice to be shorter. Wearing flats all day is not an option though because I NEED my sexy high heels for pictures
I'm not even too worried about the dragging, i just dont want to be tripping over it all night

Re: Dress length...
I bought the white platform flipflops from Victorias Secret to change into since my heels are 3.5 inches, it'll be close enough so the bottom doesn't get torn from other people stepping on it, but my feet will be more comfy!

Re: Dress length...
I broke my toe the day before the wedding so I didnt last in my shoes all night. My dress dragged a little but honeslty I was holding my dress up anyway when I danced so I really didnt care.

Re: Dress length...
i had 4 ' heels for the wedding and changed into 3.75 wedge flips from VS.. they were the white blingy kind. not too expensive and definitely worth it. i didnt' have to hold my dress the entire time I was dancing! and i was comfy!
