my mom is freaking already- when should i start freaking out? its been 'on its way-any day now' for a month. I 've spoken with the dress place three times since end of may.

Ordered it in November. i won't give out their name yet with bad comments. save that for the review. its fairly well known place but not too popular on this site. i know david's bridal gets dresses in right away but how about every where else- whats the norm to get your wedding dress in?

It depends on the designer my gown took 10 months to come in. Maybe you can speak with the owner of the store

They ARE able to tell you where you dress is...meaning when it was shipped and where it is in transit. Don't let them give you the run around. I just went through this with 2 friends. I would demand they tell you where it is. Good luck!

My dress came in 11 DAYS before my wedding.... I went for my last fitting 2 days before my wedding....You will have your dress.... My dress was stuck in customs at JFK airport for 1 whole week!!!! FM me if you'd like to chat...

I worked in a bridal shop for years... I actually ordered my wedding dress from the shop I worked at in October last year and I still don't have it yet... Depending on the designer, they can tell you exactly where the dress is... My gown is being custom made overseas and they told me that it would take about 10-11 months to get... 99% of designers give an approx. devilery date and the shop should be able to tell you where it is... If I were you I would call the shop and demand a delivery date! I'm sorry you have to got hrough this

I agree. I just went thru this with bridesmaid dresses. Make them get you tracking info. If they give you a hard time-speak to the manager/owner. 'It's coming' 6 weeks before the wedding is not good enough.

you should start screaming at the bridal shop now because if your dress needs alterations, it depends on where you get it done that will take a few weeks too. When did they tell you the dress would come in?

Thanks girls! I will call again tomorrow. they told me it had a shipping date of may 30th - shouldn't it be here by now?

OMG me too!! which place did u get your dress from ? FM me.. i thought i was the only one date twin :( 40 more days.. i'm the only one without a dress!
