Dress Opinion

My dress is off the shoulders and I am very nervous that they will keep falling or be uneven or uncomfortable. They said they can make the straps sit ontop of my shoulders like spagetti straps. I am not sure which way to wear it. Suggestions greatly appreciated.

if you have it on the shoulders it may move every time your lift up your arms to hug someone or dance with your FH. it probably won't stay.

i voted for spaghetti straps but it will look beautiful either way

I'm partial to spaghetti straps. I always liked the look better than off the shoulder. I bet it will be more comfortable, too.

hi michele- that dress photograhhs beautifully with the off the shoulder look.

nov2004bride's review has tons of pictures of her in the same dress. you may want to fm her aout how it felt with the off the shoulder?

I like the way it looks on your shoulder because I've heard of some brides (not all) feel like they are constantly fidgeting with the straps on their arms the whole time when they are dancing. Again, some really like the way it looks, but for me, I like the way it sits on the shoulder.

I guess I am in the minority. I like the straps off the shoulder. There's something so feminine about off the shoulder, IMO

i agree plus you will lose that pretty design if you make it spaghetti? But i would do what is more comfortable!

Beautiful dress. I like it off the shoulders but you should definitely get what makes you more comfortable.

Your dress is sooo pretty! I am voting for it to be off the shoulders!!! I think it is so feminine looking. If the straps are made a little snugger, they should stay in place (although this makes it hard to raise your arms).

Also, what about having the seamstress put some sort of boning under the strap to keep it in place?

Either way though, it is beautiful!!!

i like the spaghetti strap look better... and i think like you said, it would probably be more comfortable with all the hugging and dancing you're gonna be doing... but i don't think ya can go wrong... it looks beautiful either way... just what you think will be more confortable
