Okay so Ive had my dress for a few months now and I want to get it altered soon. But I need some opinions. First one being, the dress has a flower on the side. Does this look tacky? The more I look at it the more I dont know about it. Someone told me I could always take it off and add some type of brooch or something. Or just leave it plain. Secong question...should I add straps? In the second pic of the back of the dress it looks like it has straps. Your opinions would be greatly appreciate.
No straps, No flower. I really dont think you need anything there. Do you really want to put holes in your dress w/a pin?

I LOVE the idea of a brooch...the flower is a little too - trendy.....in 15 years you may look back and think...oh no, what was I thinking.. But with a brooch (especially if your family has one) - is always classic!!!
The dress is STUNNING btw...
Straps or no straps - that's entirely up to you. I don't think straps would take away from the dress. It's a matter of comfort - if you think you'll be pulling it up all night for fear of the girls making an appearance...strap it in baby!
