I have been shopping several times and tried on dozens of dresses.
I have several top contenders, though none gave me that feeling. My mom says if I keep looking I will get overwhelmed, but I feel like it *could* be out there if I look hard enough.
Am I a wackadoo?

Re: Dress overload!!!
there isn't a dress that you can't wait to go back and try on?? sounds like none are 'the one'...
what have you looked?
what types of dresses are you drawn to?

Re: Dress overload!!!
I like mermaids, fitted, a-line. Nothing too poofy or ball-gownish.
The 3 top contenders I do want to try on again. I feel like I need to spend more time in them!

Re: Dress overload!!!
I reaaaaally like the Marisa satin mermaid dress in your album!!!!
the marisa and the lace dresses are completely different, and i think the whole feel of the wedding party attire would be very different depending on which style you went with.
i still think that when you try on 'the one' you wont have to chose between other ones.

Re: Dress overload!!!
The dresses in your album are beautiful, but you have to LOVE the dress, you spend all this $ on something to wear only once, you should absolutley love it and not have any doubts! You have enough time to look some more. Good luck!

Re: Dress overload!!!
Keep the Marisa one. I LOVE it! It's def the dress for you! And yes, if you keep looking you will drive yourself crazy. I remember you posting the Marisa dress and saying that it was the one but you still wanted to look.

Re: Dress overload!!!
I'm glad I'm not alone!! I'm feeling the same way right now!! I'm totally discouraged on the dress hunt. I've been waiting for this dress to come into Estelle's for about 2 months and they told me yesterday that it won't be coming in until December!!! I just want to try it on!! And, they're the only store on LI that is getting the dress in. Very discouraging!!
...so I feel your pain...

I'm having the same problem!!! I probably tried on about 70 dresses. I don't know how to make this decision.

Re: Dress overload!!!
I love the Marisa dress but not the price, and now I'm not sure I even want it I tried on a bunch of poofy dresses and I felt physically uncomfortable in them. I guess I will take a break and start again in a month or so. Thanks ladies!

Re: Dress overload!!!
same thing here. I tried on sooo many dresses. After trying on so many i drew a picture of my ideal dress picking elements from all the ones i liked. The dress i chose is a casablanca which apparently can be changed into ANYTHING i want for little money more.
I am changing the neckline in the front and back, shortening the train, adding buttons, and changing the coloring all for 275 more!
So make sure you ask about that.. not all designers do it, but a few do. i know casablanca does.. and now i have my dream dress thats 100% customized!
the place i got my dress was the last one. I wasnt going to shop nemore but i did for fun just to keep playing dress up.. i didnt want it to be over!
I found my dream dress after i was going to stop.

Wow, I had no idea! I tried on a Casablance two days ago that I loved the bottom but hated the top and my mom was saying how we could change it and the attendant was totally discouraging it! She was like, Whats the point you might as well keep looking till you find a dress you like everything about?
And where did you buy your dress from?

Oh definitely, I've tried on a few and haven't felt totally comfortable in them, but I am not ruling them out completely. I am really open to trying on all different dresses. One bridal attendant said I was her pickiest in a long time because everything we picked looked good on me, making it THAT much harder to narrow down
