Dress payment

My dress store called today to remind me that my dress was in and see if i had made an appointment for a fitting...
well i had already called and scheduled the fitting for next thurs.
then the lady on the phone asked if i would pay the
balance (which is a Huge balance) over the phone.....

i said ummmmm nooooo i will not pay over the phone... i will pay when i come next week and see the dress in person.

Why do they think i would pay thousands of dollars for something over the phone that i have not even seen yet? am i wrong?

Ummm... yes that was unprofessional. The girl on the phone was probably new or just has no idea what she is doing there.. don't worry about it, I would just bring that up to the manager when you go there just to let them know in a nice way that that person was unprofessional to you. BUT YAY your dress is in and this is a great thing!!

your totally right! They can wait a little bit longer to get their money! You always should check out the dress before the checkbook comes out!
