Dress pic, please help with jewlery

Can anyone recommend what kind of jewlery to wear with this dress? I put a hold on a Marcasite chocker and bracelet at Macys, I'm just a littel worried that it will be too dark? Any opinions?

Do the choker & bracelet have opal or onox (OK, I can't spell)? I think black would be too dark.

Re: Dress pic, please help with jewlery

Do you really want to wear a necklace? I love the way the dress looks on the model with no jewelry. It's just my opinion but I think less is better.

Re: Dress pic, please help with jewlery

I think marquesite (sp) may be too dark for your wedding day.

What about a diamond necklace?

Re: Dress pic, please help with jewlery

Your dress is gorgeous! I think a necklace would be pretty, but I agree that marquesite is too dark. I can picture a nice look in my head but I can't describe it - I'll see if I can find a pic on a website.

I like no necklace - but maybe a diamond solitaire? You can get a zirconia for a lot less of course!

Re: Dress pic, please help with jewlery

I definitely say go with a necklace - but agree that marcasite may be a little dark. I think a choker would look perfect though! My dress has noooooo sparkle on it - so I am getting this Tiffany knock off necklace (it's the garland one) and it matches my tiara! So it looks kinda diamond-y and rhinestone-y...am I making sense?

I think a simple diamond (or zarconia or rhinestone) would look beautiful with that top!

Re: Dress pic, please help with jewlery

Ive seen this dress on a bride...I think no necklace is better. Its not apparent from the photo but the detailing under the breast is quite striking and should be the focal point.

If you are going to wear a tiara, I think a necklace would be too much. Definetely need earrings though. The dress is just gorgeous!

Re: Dress pic, please help with jewlery

I had tried on this dress and also remember the details to stand out. What about if you didn't wear a necklace but wore earrings that made more of a statement?

Re: Dress pic, please help with jewlery

I would forgo the necklace and wear really either a tiara and small earrings or just a veil and earring that 'make a statement' like Sasha suggested.
I also like the whole bare neck, less-is-more look.

Re: Dress pic, please help with jewlery

I would go without the necklace. But to be sure bring it to the store and try it on with your dress at your final fitting. If you buy that jewelry at Macy's though, you can return it. That is what I am doing tomorrow at my fitting. I bought a necklace at Lord & Taylor, but if it doesn't look good, I am just not wearing one. I bought big cubic studs for my ears.
