Dress Prices

Original post by JTsGal829

when looking for your dress..which places did you find gave you the best price?? I'm gonna start shopping in a few weeks and i was thinking of going to

Lilettes
Bridal Reflections
Bridal Suite of Bayshore
Bridal Elegance
Helens

I really love the maggie dresses(esp. sottero & Midgley) and demetrios.. but i wanna try to get the best prices i can since it seems we are a tad over budget as it is..and i'm freaking out about that just a little.

If you guys have any suggestions i'm def. open to them!!
TIA

I suggest you try Burton's Bridal. I was there on saturday and they carry Maggie Sotero and Demetrios (those were the 2 designers I def. wanted to try) and of course I didnt end up wth them but their prices are totally reasonable and the ladies there were sooo nice!

From personal experiences, stay far away from the Bridal Reflections in Carle Place! Lilette's is very reasonably priced!

I agree. I hated both Bridal Reflections actually. I am going with Lillette's they are definitely reasonable. FYI I saw a Marisa dress at BR for $1650 and I went to RK and they said they would order it for $1500. Not a ton of money off, but every little bit helps.

I think the salespeople at Lillette's are great, and I like the feel of the store - I hate snooty salon type places.

I just got one of those new maggie dresses from her sottero-midgley line from Helen's Bridal -- they were great!

Re: Dress Prices

Macy's carries Demetrios dresses exclusively. I got mine there. Less than $1000 for a brand new style.
Check when the next trunk show is...I got 20% off my dress and 50% off my headpiece and veil and the people in Manhasset Macy's are really nice (Katrina is the best...she helped me and also helped my sis last Nov.)!
Good Luck!!
