Dress Prices

when looking for your dress..which places did you find gave you the best price?? I'm gonna start shopping in a few weeks and i was thinking of going to

Lilettes
Bridal Reflections
Bridal Suite of Bayshore
Bridal Elegance
Helens

I really love the maggie dresses(esp. sottero & Midgley) and demetrios.. but i wanna try to get the best prices i can since it seems we are a tad over budget as it is..and i'm freaking out about that just a little.

If you guys have any suggestions i'm def. open to them!!

I suggest you try Burton's Bridal. I was there on saturday and they carry Maggie Sotero and Demetrios (those were the 2 designers I def. wanted to try) and of course I didnt end up wth them but their prices are totally reasonable and the ladies there were sooo nice!

Lidia's Bridal was about 200 cheaper on dresses I had priced (maggies, casablanca's)

I got my dress from Paradise bridal and their prices were great and they had a $250 cap on alterations. The cost of the bustle isn't included in the cap, but they only charged $10 per point and I've seen a lot of people that have been charged around $20 per point.

I've heard good things aobut Bridal Elegance. Just to let you know Bridal Reflections in Massapequa has cheaper gowns than in Carle Place. I was told that the Gowns in CP start at 2500 and go up to 20 grand.

On LI, no one could beat Angel Bridals price since no one else carried it except one place in Nassau county but they couldnt get it so they dont count! lol

I've heard from a friend that Burton's beat all prices she gave and ordered her dress from there. Might want to check out RK Bridal too- if you're open to going into the city. Dress prices are great!

well i live in brooklyn, so the city is def. easy for me to get too.. but besides RK i haven't heard or had great experiences with too many local dress shops so i'm sticking to LI for the most part.. but RK is def. on my list.. especially for BM dresses

If you want to get an unbelievably good price, try Best Bridal in The Bridal Building in NYC....I when I heard the price for my dress and what it included, FM if you want more info..

I ordered my Maggie from Bridal Elegance.
They beat the other prices i was quoted by a few hundred dollars.

They may not carry the sample of the gown you want, but they can order basically anything.

Bridal Suite in Centereach lowered my price by $300 and they have a cap on the alterations..sorry I don't remember how much, but I remember thinking it was fairly cheaper than I had thought it would be!
