Hey Ladies...what bridal places do you recommend I should go to that I can get a dress off the rack. I'm planning an April 2006 wedding and I can't order a dress.

If possible a place that does alterations. I want to lose some weight and don't want to pick up the dress until closer to the wedding date.

Try Phyllis from gownfind. She has some wedding dresses in her store and she may be able to order a dress for you quickly. She'll also save you some money in the process.
i am a huge fan of RK Bridal in the city I went and had an awesome experience I also think they are having a cash and carry sale for gowns I think they are like 300 bucks. FM for more info HTH

My friend bought hers at Fantasias off the rack. I also know someone else who bought a dress of the rack at the Bridal Suite in Centereach. I would go to any bridal salon, and ask them. I bet you can get any of the dresses on the floor, for the right price.
