I don't think it's strange that you are ready to start looking.......a lot of us have found our dress already!!!

As far as the dress itself, I am not sure where you can find it but you can always do a search if you have a # or even the designer.

Best of luck and have a fun time on your search for 'the dress'

OMG I am the same way!

Ironically I like Maggie also...I was just going to ask where some of the 'good' places to look at dresses were on LI.

PS...are there any rules on here as far as mentioning places names?

Thanks!

Everyone talks about phyllis on here, they say she will find any dress for you and give it to you for less...if you do a search on her here on LIW you will see alot of reviews on her.

Re: dress question

Phyllis is from Bridal Elegance. The only problem is that she doesn't have a lot of the dresses in her store but she can order them for you. You should try it on in a store and once you decide you want to order it you can go to her, she has amazing prices. I know they have this Maggie at Lillettes in Baldwin- ask for an appointment with Carol she is so nice.

When I was in love w/ a gown (which I'm now over) another bride suggested I contact her since she has a rep for being the best priced, I think her e-mail is [email protected]
