About how long did it take for your dresses to come in??
I didn't order a dress yet And now I'm worried that I won't get it in time for July. I'm pretty sure I know what I want now, its a Maggie Sottero..but I won't even be able to go order it until Dec..do you think 7months is enough time? For some reason I have 9-10 months stuck in my head.
Also how long did it take for the bridesmaid dresses to come in??
I'm still trying to deceide if I'm going to be able to keep the wedding in July or if I'm going to be forced to push it back a few months or even a year But we should know for sure by the end of the month...

I think you should order the dress soon if you need it for July. Mine wasn't a Maggie but it took 8 months.

I'm getting married July as well, and I won't be able to order my dress until July either. I'm not that worried about it. I just moved up here and I want to be able to go shopping with my mom and sister over winter break.

Most dresses take 4-6 months. If you order in December you should still be fine.

It definitely depends on the designer...some designers take 8 months or so. I would double check with the manufacturer before you hold off. Also, the longer you wait the more of a chance that the dress can be discontinued or that you will ahve to pay for a rush cut! Just check it all out!

i was just dress shopping last weekend and the sales lady told me 6 months to order...im not worried and im getting married july 4th!

it really depends on the designer but I think you should be fine, they can always rush the order.
With BM dresses don't worry at all....I got mine at RK Bridal, I ordered in August bc I was afraid they would take a while...they got here in October

I'm getting married in June and still haven't ordered either.
There are some cools sites you can check out like www.BestBridalprices.com that have all sorts of designer dresses (including Maggie) and most of them are quoting 11-13 weeks regular delivery and you can rush for an extra $100. I'm going to check out David's bridal just to see if there is anything I like there and otherwise try to order from this website after trying on in a bridal store.
