does anyone know if jim hjelm would do pattern changes on their dresses? I really love one dress but the neckline is straight and sweetheart looks really great on me.

That would be the alterations dept of the bridal salon to handle, not the designer.
Now if your asking if its possible to change a neckline, it IS possible, BUT it depends on the dress.

depending on the designer they might do this for a bit extra - ask any bridal salon that carries it

I have a Jim Hjelm dress and Kleinfields told me that they can make changes and I think a sweatheart from straight is definitely something they can do.

Kleinfeld did an amazing job changing the neckline of my sister's dress. It was kind of a scooped neckline and it showed too much cleavage so the actually turned it into a sweetheart and it looked awesome, everything totally matched and looked like it belonged there (it wasn't cheap though)
