I ordered my dress last week and they said it will take AT LEAST 12-14 weeks. well it came in yesterday and i had to pick it up today. fine.
right now its in my mom's bedroom, wrapped in a white sheet and in a white garment bag, it should be fine right?? it won't get discolored between now and February when i will start fittings??

Re: Dress question
wow that was fast!! I am surprised they didnt keep it for you at the place you got the dress!
I guess it should be fine especially if no one smokes in the house... but you might want to get it preserved just in case

Re: Dress question
I think it should be okay as long as it is not damp where it is being stored

Keep it out of light.. drape a towel over the top of the garment bag to keep the dust off (in addition to the sheet)
and it will be perfect. Mines been in storage for a long time now (almost a year.. I got the dress right after I booked the RH bc I fell in love).. and it's fine, I just took it out the other day.

Re: Dress question
My friend bought her dress before she even got engaged because she found a dress for $300 and knew her boyfriend was asking her soon. The bottom of the dress was completely ruined but she is short so it was getting cut off. Anyway she had about a year before she started fittings. It will be fine. Like mentioned drape a towel for the dust, thats what my friend did.
